April 2, 2016 – SDM “Spring Festival” Square Dance, St Cloud, Callers Tom Allen, Andy Flint, Larry Fruetel, Monte Gunzeler, Charley Huhtala, Tom Jacobs, Abe Maier, and Roger McNeil; Cuers Sarah Klaphake, Bernadette McNeil, and Donna Stone. Fourteen squares (112 dancers) were present. Also attending were USDA Plains Vice Presidents Judy and Floyd Engelhardt with USDA information and Come Square Dance sold script to help finance their grants. $448 was donated to the Whitney Center. Live Lively, Traveler, and Most-Active Dancer awards, and organization certificates and 501(c)(3) documentation were presented. Great desserts were available throughout the dance. More than 60 members attended the Idea Exchange held in the morning. ETTA Square & Rounds and Beaux & Belles hosted the dance and Tom Allen was the emcee.
