Even though the calendar tells us that autumn officially began on Sept. 23, the weather has been a different story!\u00a0 Due to the efforts of Dixie Holton, Spares and Pairs began collecting club dues and membership to SDM.\u00a0 A BIG thank you to Dick Rueter for the Plus Workshops during the last three months, as well as the energetic ABC dances, the first three weeks of Sept.\u00a0 Lessons are now under way!<\/p>\n
If you were at the MN State Fair this year, you more than likely got some dancing in, or watched those who did!\u00a0 The new square dance t-shirts seem to attract positive attention by everyone.<\/p>\n
Dick has been joined by Monte Guenzler, a new caller from Rochester, who drives up most weeks and adds to our dancing pleasure. \u00a0Not too long ago an out-of-town guest, familiar to some of us, Robert Remski was in town and stopped by.<\/p>\n
In addition to our own king and queen Jennifer and Barry Downs, we\u2019ve been seeing a lot of queen Bonnie Eidman from Ar Dales!\u00a0 Caller Randy Dougherty joined us last month and added some zest!<\/p>\n
