May 17, 2015 – Rockin’ Country Dancers “Barn” Dance, Virgil Niehauus Farm, Sauk Centre, Callers Larry Johansen, Roger McNeil, Myron Hollatz, Andy Flint, and Jane Simpson. Eight squares with members from Wadena Whirlaways, F-M Square Dance Association, County Line Squares, Riverbend Promenades, Ar-Dales, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Koronis Nite Owls, and Rays Promenaders.

Tom Allen called at our May 3, 2015 dance. There were five and three fourths squares with eleven clubs represented. Ken LaBau cued to the lively round dancers. Celebrities that attended were SDM Vice Chair, Don Hanson; SDM Secretary, Bob Meyer; SDM Education Director, Mary Kay Amberg; and SDM Historian, Al and Cindy Martin. On April 26th, our club was invited to dance with the home schooled children at Lindstrom, MN. After the dance everyone was invited to join them in a delicious pot luck luncheon. On Friday, May 8th, our club danced at a Barn Dance at St. Christopher’s Church in Roseville. Our annual banquet is being held at Gulden’s on May 19th. Keep your dancing feet going this summer and we’ll see you in the fall.

May 6, 2015 – Spares & Pairs “Spring Fling Night” Square Dance, Bloomington, Timbre Junction Band, Caller Dennis Farrar, Cuers Ray Belanger and Robin Fryman. Timbre Junction performed for a half hour prior to the dance which had 12 squares with members from 14 clubs in attendance.
